The original concept for this album of analog synthesizer soundscape space music came from exploratory improvisation sessions with my Eurorack system, where the sounds I was getting reminded me of radio telescope signals, and music that had previously been derived from galactic radio transmission data. I felt like I was hearing the sounds made by the radio emission sources in the Orion Nebula, and the Pleiades. That sent me me on a quest to discover analog synth patches that would yield similarly evocative soundscapes. Further work with my Eurorack and the analog synths created the soundscapes that developed into this album.
